Speed Cinema Screening: Indie Directors Panel 7/24/19 6 pm

Tickets to the Indie Directors Panel are free for Louisville Film Society and Speed members and can be reserved in advance, $5 for students and filmmakers, $9 general admission tickets. This discussion will focus on the directors’ personal journeys within the film industry, as well as exploration of the broader aspects of representation in film, including the range and availability of roles for women both in front of and behind the camera. Panelists include Kay Milam (The Butterfly Trees), Bethany Brooke Anderson (Burning Kentucky), Urooj Yazdani (A Destruction), Ani Simon-Kennedy (The Short History of the Long Road) and Soozie Eastman (Overload). Program length: 90 minutes.
