The CatVideoFest takes an activity that is normally done singly—watching cat videos online—and makes it into a communal experience.  Each year, the Social Purpose Corporation brings a selection of the best feline videos along with some classics and unique submissions and shares them with the masses, all while raising money for cats in need.

Hatched at the Walker Art Center in 2012, the first year attracted 10,000 people to a single screening on the hillside next to the museum.  Subsequent years saw sold-out screenings of more than 13,000 at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand and the baseball stadium, CHS Field, in St. Paul.

Now, the CatVideoFest is an international program with screenings in dozens of cities bringing together kitty fans with a program that provides support to the little ones. The program is produced by filmmaker Will Braden, creator of the YouTube sensation Henri, le Chat Noir. 2022, U.S., DCP, 75 minutes. Recommended for all ages. 10% of the ticket sales will be donated to Alley Cats and the Kentucky Humane Society.
