Speed Cinema Screenings: Documentary Master Class: Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar 2/15/20 11 am

Celebrated documentarians Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar will select scenes from their films and break down their approach and challenges to their filmmaking process. This session is geared to students and filmmakers and it offers a rare opportunity for interaction with some of the field’s top practitioners. The program will focus on The Last Truck: Closing of a GM Plant and American Factory and the issues of trust, consent, and cultural differences that the filmmakers needed to address in working with the documentary subjects. Approximately 90 minutes. Recommended for 12+.
