Immigrants, migrants, refugees, asylum-seekers, job-seekers – what’s the difference in legal status and why? Catholic Charities Chief Executive Officer Lisa DeJaco Crutcher will moderate a panel of experts and facilitate storytelling by Louisvillian immigrants to unpack the complicated realities of immigrants in America today.

 

Panelists include: 

  • Congressman John Yarmuth, U.S. Representative for Kentucky’s 3rd congressional district since 2007
  • Professor Enid F. Trucios-Haynes, faculty member at the Brandeis School of Law since 1993 and a nationally recognized scholar in immigration law
  • Rebecca Sim, Director of Immigration Legal Services at Catholic Charities of Louisville
