“Hidden in Plain Sight”

Artists often hide personal secrets in artworks they create. We will tour the galleries, looking for clues in several artworks, decoding the mysteries.  Then we will create artworks that contain our own secret messages. This classroom-ready activity demonstrates a very approachable way to interpret artworks, especially those that seem impossible to understand.
