Teacher Professional Development: Looking Through the Lens of Impressionism

Explore Impressionist masterpieces of the 19th century—both in the Speed’s collection and in the special exhibition Women Artists in the Age of Impressionism. What makes a painting Impressionist? What techniques were these artists using that were new and innovative? These questions—and more—will be addressed during this session.
All participants will receive a certificate indicating that they've participated in three hours of professional development.
