Jay Kelly, the new film from Academy Award nominee Noah Baumbach, follows famous movie actor Jay Kelly (George Clooney) and his devoted manager Ron (Adam Sandler) as they embark on a whirlwind and unexpectedly profound journey through Europe. Along the way, both men are forced to confront the choices they've made, the relationships with their loved ones, and the legacies they’ll leave behind.
The script by Baumbach and Emily Mortimer, who is also featured the film, focuses on the responsibility of fathers whose decisions to focus on their careers have taken a toll on their connections with their children. When his last child graduates and is about to leave the house, Jay Kelly tries to reconnect with his daughter when she travels to Europe. With hilarious and moving performances by a supporting cast including Laura Dern, Greta Gerwig, Billy Crudup, Stacy Keach, and Riley Keough.
