Talk Cinema returns with this new film fresh from its premiere at the Venice Film Festival at the end of August. Old Henry is great new cowboy film harkening back to the classic westerns.

A widowed farmer and his son warily take in a mysterious, injured man with a satchel of cash. When a posse of men claiming to be the law come for the money, the farmer must decide who to trust. Defending against a siege of his homestead, he reveals a talent for gunslinging that surprises everyone, calling his true identity into question.

The film channels westerns like Shane along with tense thrillers like Reservoir Dogs and Straw Dogs. With Tim Bake Nelson, Scott Haze, Steven Dorff, Trace Adkins, and Gavin Lewis. 2021, U.S., DCP, 99 minutes.
