Preschool Workshop: Shadow Puppets

Looking for something new and interesting to do with your preschooler? Early learners (ages 2-5) will enjoy exploring the museum and expressing their creativity. Each workshop will begin with a tour of the museum’s galleries, followed by a hands-on art making activity. Can you spot horses in the museum’s collection? How does a horse sound? How does a horse move? After you’ve toured the museum, you will create your own horse using shadow puppet materials. Then, watch your horse come alive in your very own shadow puppet show. A parent or guardian must remain with the child throughout the workshop.
