Speed Cinema Screening: Psycho 4/04/18 8:15pm
Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
Introduced by Alexandre O. Philippe
Hitchcock was already famous as the screen’s master of suspense when he released Psycho and forever changed the shape and tone of the movie thriller. From it’s opening sequence featuring a lunchtime liaison in a cheap motel (certainly scandalous for a Hollywood film at the time), Psycho took audiences to places it hadn’t been before. 1960, U.S., DCP, 109 minutes. Rated R.
